Bishop Herman College offers a wide range of academic programs, including General Arts, General Science, Agriculture, Business, and Visual Arts. During the registration process for the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS), final-year junior high school applicants have the opportunity to select four elective courses aligned with their interests and career aspirations. In addition to electives, all students are required to take core courses, which include English Language, Core Mathematics, Social Studies, Integrated Science, ICT (Core), and Physical Education. Of these, students are examined both internally and externally in the first five courses, while Physical Education contributes to overall development without formal external assessment.

The academic program at Bishop Herman College follows a three-year senior high school curriculum, spanning Form One to Form Three, similar to other senior high schools in Ghana. Enrollment begins with the first academic year, and graduation marks the successful completion of the third year. This structured and well-rounded educational approach ensures that students acquire a strong academic foundation, critical thinking skills, and the knowledge necessary to pursue further education or professional opportunities.
